RRR Actor NTR Jr on Oscars 2023: Superstar NTR Jr says the steps of his iconic number ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film ‘RRR’ were not difficult, it was difficult to sync the song. For this song, he and his co-star used to practice for 3 hours daily. His feet are still hurting from the shooting of the song.

In an interview to Entertainment Tonight, NTR Jr was asked if you thought this film would cross all global lines and be loved by all. In response to the question, the actor said: I don’t know, but the experience of shooting the song, I have been telling this.. my feet still ache.

We were rehearsing on the set as well – NTR Jr.

The dance steps were not difficult but what was difficult was the ‘sync’. We used to practice dance everyday for three hours. We used to rehearse it during the shooting of that song. We rehearsed for that song a week before the shoot and we were rehearsing on the set as well. It was only for synchronization.

How does it feel to add an Academy Award-nominee to your list of accomplishments? NTR Jr replied with a smile: What more can an actor ask for, what more can a filmmaker ask to be a part of the biggest festival of cinema globally, the Oscars. He said that the big day is when one gets a chance to walk on the red carpet not as an actor, but as an Indian.

He said, for that day, I think we will not walk as actors of ‘RRR’. I am going to walk on the red carpet as an Indian, it is a matter of pride for me, my country is in my heart.
